the death of animu? 2012 a year early? scare?

a law was passed in japan limiting depictions in anime that would disturb the mental health of children. specifically targetting : fanservice, violence, k-on!!. (lol no jk about k-on!!) in anime.

scary? yes. apparently it won't go into affect until 2011, but the blow has been dealt.

sound familiar? it's sort of like the loli-ban, but no.

but I for one, am not too worried. i actually believe in japan to get through it and provide us with the goods. just a new way to rate things PG-13 to M (or as i call it PG-15). japan has a miracle way to get through these bans, either, as my friend suggested, they will move out to another country where they won't be sued (korea looks pretty nice right now, since their manga/anime are showing some serious promise), or as i think they will do, is they will just be damn creative about it. have you seen some comiket doujins (adult variety)? the censoring is quite... minimum. i mean, it's like, is that even accomplishing anything? it's not mosaic, it's a black bar, but it's.... ANYWAY. back on topic.

the new law is scary, but we have time to prepare. and as the past has shown us with the loli-ban, in the end the money generated for the economy from sales of otaku goods and the demand for these kinds of anime is amazincredible to say the least. it doesn't look good, but with time and experience, the loli-flow will stabilize and we'll be catching fanservice at every turn again.

off track

odd how it took a 2 paragraph story about an insane 500 year old vampire loli to get me back on track.
for the past few days i've been feeling more and more depressed, attaching myself to stories of furries and stuff. i think my life force may be tied to lolies or something because the moment i finished that story and started craving for a loli, i realized i was full of energy and zeal.
crazy random happenstances take it, i was in just the right place to sate this craving for "little-girl". i was at a gensokyo-directory (actually the touhou wikia), and i filled my head with knowledge of the happenings of these fantastical girls. specifically a certain famous "knowledge".

anyway, immediately proceeding this re-love, i started drawing. pumping out one of my new masterpieces (the kind i'd put in my portfolio kind of masterpieces. [masterpieces were normally made to get you accepted into an artist guild]). i'm sitting here in class just itching to get home and scan/clean it.

mmmm.... flandre scarlet.

anthropomorphics

Today was the release of the Valkenhayn download for BlazBlue CS. valkenhayn is a werewolf serving as butler for a vampire loli named Rachel. this is awesome. the previous downloadable character was a squirrel girl named makoto, she's the best friend of noel and tsubaki, officers of the NOL. she is also awesome.

what do the 2 have in common? they are part animal.

that brings us to today's post. Anthropomorphic characters. or : the humanization of an animal.
most people refer to these people as furries. alot of people hate them, but i'll be here to clear things up.
Furries have been rule 42'd. that in itself is pretty terrible (for a rule 42 anyway). but it's not the half-beast's fault.
furries can be awesome, makoto is a prime example of that. so don't hate on them (too much).

a common anthropomorphic, around since ancient times, is the wolf man (were : latin for male of the man species. and wolf : go read a dictionary, i can't possibly figure this one out.). they are indestructible forces of nature, and are wolves to boot. plus they can pretty much go toe to toe with a vampire (vampyre : see : hellsing manga). if you want werewolf action go read wolf guy. i highly recommend it. (NSFW)

making animals into cute lolies however is the main point of this entire thing. cat girls are cute, whether it's nekomimi mode or a bonafide cat girl, or the awesome rise in people who where cat tails (IRL). when a cute loli is sporting some cat ears, they get a bonus of +4 to cute. it's one of the higher forms of moe that should not be abused without care. ran and chen from perfect cherry blossom 2 of the spokespeople for the catgirl army.

ED: i will return to this post as class is ending. will finish later. add picture.

and life comes crashing down for the holidays

today's post is a selfish one again. it's about me. and my life.
"life you say? you have no life!"
there's a story to why though, would you like to hear why? i'm going to tell you, it's a really long story, and it goes into incredibly pointless detail, and there may or may not be a quiz to this.
"w-wait, no. i don't have time for- i'm going to go over there now, please don't"
oh? right then, shut up, and go to hell.

and you, your still here? okay good. i don't have time for jack-rabbits like the other guy, who TOTALLY EXISTS (lies).
cough, i'll go for the short version since you've been patient. and YOU, you stay in the corner like a bitch.

well anyway, yes it's about my life, (which i don't have). how does this work? i'll get to it in a second.

during thanksgiving, we had the most terrible of cold weather, it was so cold we had to bring out a heater to keep the TV room warm. but being the holiday it was, there was food to prepare and stuff to do/watch. in my room, there were 2 desktop computers in use, one currently being used to play games, and the other to watch youtube videos, across the hall was my sister's room where a computer was also being used to watch youtube videos.. also the lights were on because daylights savings time was a lie and we actually lost "day-time", but that's something else. in the kitchen was an old microwave, a toaster, a rice cooker, and various kitchen appliances going on full to prepare our feast. and finally in the TV room was already mentioned heater, and the television system used to watch pumpkins be chucked for nearly a mile.

normally these items are in constant standard use in the house and poses no problem, but today was cold and a holiday, and everything was on at the same time. you probably guessed it by no, but we had a power outage or something (i don't remember the term, but you get the idea). this is normal though, it usually does nothing and is fixed rather easily. so i go outside, evade my dogs and get to the breaker, and switch the thing back.

everything is on again, and i locate the heater and close a few lights and save energy, like a hero. and then i go to my room, start up one of the computers again, move to the other one and turn that on. and then it happens.

i look at the first computer and it starts fine, it's the second one that gives me trouble. the normal "start windows in safe mode? start windows in .... start windows normally" thing comes on. whatever, i chose normal startup. it begins to boot. then suddenly. BSOD. that's right. blue screen of death.

i'm all like, oh son of a bitch. restart, fuck you bitch, you WILL START FOR ME. menu comes up again, i choose "last known working configuration". fuck yeah, saved the day. not. load screen and then sudden BSOD. BS, right?

okay i know how to work computers more then the average person, so i mash my f8 key, and f10 keys andgo through all the menus and try to repair this thing. i mean it's starting up so it's not my PSU (power supply unit), so what the hell. i start to suspect hard-drive problems. only one thing to do. i go for the option to keep the comp from auto-restarting on failure, so i could get a look at the BSOD, because believe or not, they DO say something people.

fears confirmed, boot-volume-something blah blah, my hard drive was damaged in the power outage.

shit.

hopefully i'm suspecting only part of the C drive was hurt, and not the D drive (i split my hard drive, you should do the same thing next time you reformat or whatever). that way all my important stuff is safe, ie: my life was in there.
yeah, my computer basically holds my life. that's why i don't have one. pretty melodramatic way to explain why i don't have a life, but it sucks nonetheless <---that's one fucking word, fuck yeah-----< it's a terrible way to "die" though, holiday festivities stabbing at your soul trying to cook up a ham and watch jamie and adam host a punkin chunkin contest.

luckily i didn't feel to down, it was thanksgiving, i just had one less thing to be thankful for. i have like 6 other computers in the house, though not as amazing as the injured one, but computers anyway.

by the end of the day, i was full of food, so i was happy, find me a man who is not happy after eating thanksgiving dinner. i hook a craptop to the router and download same as normal, and i've occupied my time with playing blazblue, and various RPG games. sure, part of me died a little, but i feel a little like voldemort, one horcrux is not enough to take me down. BY THE WAY HARRY POTTER IS THE OWNER OF THE WAND PART OF THE DEATHLY HALLOWS BECAUSE DUMBLEDORE WAS GODDAMN GENIUS WITH THE SNAPE THING, HAHAHAHAHA SPOILER.

shut up, real fans already knew that. if you didn't know it by now and you are a fan of the series, well your a bitch poser. bitch.

i am dissapoint

fortune arterial

At first i was excited about this one, i was thnking i was going to get something amazing along the lines of shana, or iriya, or pretty much another amazing dengeki bunko masterpiece (see : durarara). i mean the whole setup was there : sad past, new location w/ new future, force of evil (vampires), and a wide selection of girls for the hero to interact with.

i guess it goes along the classic : what i watched, what i expected, and what i got. meme.

i got a coloring book. not literally but impressionally. this was the most generic anime i've ever seen, all the cliches are there, but the timing for them are so bad that you can predict it 5 full minutes before they pull the punchline.
i've seen low budget visual novels with more impact then this.

it's just been done a billion times, the crying formula is a good start, but even key (the pioneers/overmasters/inventors of the Cry-game-formula/gods of the genre) knows the formula is archaic and mix it up a little.

other than the great animation (no loss in quality anywhere), and varied cast of characters, it's just boring. sorry Knight, but i really can't keep watching this one.

PS: for my previous post, were- , the suffix means male. as in werewolf : guy-wolf or part guy part wolf. wom- as in womb or woman, means female. it's latin. man, as combined with something else, means the species, as in the human species. it's latin. so for that post : werewoman means part male part female.

Reliving Puberty

Now I know what you're thinking. Why the fuck would I want that?! Middle school is possibly the worst point in your life. Most of us were the small kids, awkward as fuck and when we grew taller, we'd looked like giant babies hence more awkward... that pretty much sums it up actually. Anyway, I couldn't help but think that there were some things I'd like to relive (as the title suggests). Bear with me on this.
Reasons:
1. Noting/Remembering things (granted some things should stay forgotten)
One thing I'd love to remember is how I had my first boner. I've narrowed it down to too possibilities. Either:
A. It was on a Saturday morning when I was watching my cartoon on Fox Kids, DIGIMON! And Gattoman digivolved to Angewoman.
B. It was on a rainy weekday in early 7th grade when Anahit Tifliktsyan was sitting next to me wearing boots.... 7th grade is pretty loli so I guess this is relevant.

2. The bliss of innocence
I'd love to (re)experience the brief moment of our sexual education in which we understand that men and women must have sex to have a baby BUT have not yet realized that our parents had sex to have us (and still probably do).

something about werewoman.

have you ever stumbled upon what the internet comes to know as gender bending?
at first you reel back in disgust and surprise, but that quickly fades into curiosity. you take a deeper look, perhaps clicking that image-link and hovering over the backspace key to quickly retreat if it goes horribly wrong.

what happens next differs from one person to the next, but the average response is : the girl is cute, but you know for a fact it used to be a man. an instant dilemma is at your doorstep, it is completely not gay to like the girl, but gay to continually assure yourself that the girl is in fact a man. the classic " what do? "

i for one just take it in present tense, she's a girl right now, and i also realize the character probably likes the idea, i like the idea that we get more girls in the world. odd i know.
someone or another has thought about it and questioned themselves, and have definitely reached the conclusion that being a girl has all the advantages. what could we do/ would we do (talking specifically to men at this point) if we were girls, with full knowledge that we were men before hand? perversion and extortion immediately ring out the polls.

but then we have the complete other thing, the thing that even i at first thought it was the most incredibly strange thing i've ever laid eyes on.
the futa.
what is a futa? futa is short for futanarikko, in japan this means girl with a man's equipment. this usually entails an addition to their already equipped assets, and sometimes a lack of sack.
what the heck right? in japan, who we all know is home to a secrete group of strange (and sadly talented) people, hiding among their normal population. they can imagine freely the most intangible (to us) of topics, and have the resources to share their thoughts with everyone.

but futa isn't all that bad, i think. it usually gives women the chance to connect deeper (no pun intended) with the same sex, and in doujins, this is often the case.
but with a love-sided bonus comes a dirty-sided standard. futa-women often come with weapons the size of themselves. no joke, artist who make these things like to pump sizes up to arm-length.

we have no choice but to either jump completely into the perverted, or veer clear of it completely. there is no gray area on this one.

the fusion of men and women leaves many thoughts, and i find myself questioning why the hell anyone would do such a thing, and even more, questioning why anyone, including myself, would go through it at all? i think though, i'll stick to lolies. lolies will not betray me, and their very existence ensures happiness and not confusion. stick to our guns in the world of japan and you might still be the same person, but better. take the wrong turn or choose the wrong link and you might end up a girl with an unhide-able trap and alot of questions for science.

ps: i read a ton of lolicon stuff right after, i am sane enough for now.

New Goal in Life.

So I have this looooooooooooong list of goals in life. Some of them are serious, some of them aren't. Some of them may seem ridiculous to you but are serious to me, vice-versa. Anyway, one of my most recent ones is a curious little thing.

Can I tell you a secret?
I like Taylor Swift...

And if you thought I meant her music, No, thats fucking gay dude.
Anyway my new goal is to... here it comes

DEFLOWER TAYLOR SWIFT

I'm thinking, "Russian Bobsled", her daddies house while he's out doing redneck shit, me in a Rabbi costume, her in a Nazi SS uniform.
And if you don't know what the Russian Bobsled is, educate yourself: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Russian%20Bobsled

Do Rednecks have two story houses?

write a story ; a selfish post

I like writing stories. for the past 2 years i've had one story on my mind, and i don't see myself giving up on this little world for years to come.

i've pretty much written a 24+ chapter book (it was 20 chapters a while ago, finished, but i just couldn't help myself) about a world i envisioned. something post-god. as in, i killed god once, and the whole point of the story is to keep the new one from being killed.
the story isn't based deeply in religion, though there are new-angels, new-demons, and a some magic here and there. to put it back into context : remember, i killed god before anything in the book happens.

after god dies, in an interdimensional war, the 3 worlds are thrust into a battle for survival, without god the universe started to collapse, and the only hope to come out alive was to take the pieces of god's shattered remains and try for a reset, in the end it becomes apparent that the world will never go back to the way it was, and to truly achieve survival they had to make a hefty sacrifice.

a champion arises, and takes in the toll for continued existence ; loss of omnipotent form for the angels, loss of perfected evolution for demons, a great loss in technology and lives for humans, and great portions of their own world. once the champion gathered everything, and took in the body of god, he created a new world and semi-universe, and a new god. the god was still a child, and it would be quite a while before the universe could sustain itself, so the champion became the caretaker of the universe.

skip forward a few thousand years, in the new world. god is maturing quite nicely, (and turns out it's a girl this time), and the universe is approaching evolution from "semi-universe" into "full-universe". the champion, who we learn by now was named nephi, is carefully raising the angels and demons until they can become full-fledged angels/demons again (though by comparison they'd be angel-trainees and lesser demons).

the new world turns out to be riddled with danger, being made up of earth, celestia, and the demonworld. seeing as humans having their total population diminished quite vastly, are spread far and wide (though concentrated where they are located), the need for humanity to regroup and regain communication was immediately apparent. technology had been reverted pretty much back to the gun-powder/steam-engine days, which resulted in an assimilation effect, sort of like water-drops connecting to each other to become a bigger water drop, humanity's small colonies of culture started to move and attatch to other colonies. later on 3 major groups emerged.

the scientific/scholarly group who had an amazing string of genius leaders who work to promote increase in technology among their affiliated colonies; the culture/tradition group who is made up of very different cultures and groups such as english-knight-types, pirates, tribes, etc; and the un-found/hidden which is made up of the rest of humanity which haven't been discovered by the other 2, or those who prefer to remain secluded.
(sounds like index, is not index, really it isn't)

during the assimilation process, the need for explorers and adventurers rose quickly, and like anyone knows, where there is demand, there is business and profit. step in the frontiers (or frontiersmen to some), adventurers working toward the expansion of humanity and the safe-guard of colonies in the very dangerous, monster riddled world. the scientific group took to creating a railway system for communication, hiring the frontiers to provide safety for the workers. being technology oriented, they developed many technologies toward building the rails, and defending the colonies, and required the frontiers to only defend/attack as necessary until the defenses were completed. the other group setup major strongholds/cities and defended those places, each city being completely self-reliant, and at the same time, breeding incredible warriors, pretty soon the frontiers weren't needed once the cities were up and running, and they moved on to the next city.

oshi- enters stage left
seeing as how angels/demons were so damn perfect, it became apparent why they ended up like that. in each of their respective worlds were many dangerous creatures, and now that the 2 worlds were located in close proximity to each other, a super-beast was born. quite a huge monster, about the size a mountain or so, made itself known by destroying a few cities in it's path. frontiers were quickly dispatched, but they all failed, until a group of 7 arrived. composed of the best of the best from the 3 major groups (science, tradition, unknown) they set-out to destroy the monster. it took a while, and the concerted efforts of almost everyone, not to mention help of the champion himself, but the beast was eventually felled.

technology advanced, humans were reuniting and growing, and peace was to be had by all, the number of frontiers needed fell, but never vanished. quite alot happened, but this isn't even where my book starts.

my book starts 9 years later, with the child of 2 of the the 7 heroes, and HER adventures.

fuck, yeah. interdimensional war, god dies, the world is broken down and rebuilt, survival in chaos, gigantic monster, legendary heroes, and THEN my story starts. and by the way, shit only gets better.

ps: i left alot of the jargon i named things in the book out of this summary.
pps: i'm going to make this into 3 stories in multiple books (about 2-3 books per story), one taking on the interdimensional war/champion section, one for the 7-heroes section, and one for the child.
the book i've done already is the child.her full name is Amber Myrrh Sierras. or A.M.Sierras* or just Amber.
*book title (or working on title)

look forward to these stories.  oh and uh they be light-novels, i'll release them as i work on the art.

the small things can be dreams too

it's the small things that make us the most happy, whether it be breaking highscores, getting the last bit of cereal in the bowl, catching the really big one, and of course the smiles of the ones we love. if we didn't have these small victories, we'd never survive!

and one of those small dreams of mine is to create a noodle-waterfall. and a perfect one if i could.

what is a noodle water fall?
well you probably know since you can see the picture, but just in case: it's the act of eating a metric-shit-ton scoop of noodles in one go via slurp. and a perfect one, worth the full 10/10 score, is one that is wide and thin.

try it, it's goddamn difficult, but just the visuals of completing one is damn awesome.

a tale of swords and souls eternally retold

Swordsmen, or in my case swordswomen, are awesome. the code of chivalry, the envoking of a woman's name to aide thee in battle, the skill of the blade, the act of being the bulwark of your land's defenses, the point of your country's spear. the hp and atk points invested in your character sheet.

swordsmen are standard, whenever there was a need for battle, thousands of them would rise up to the challenge, and yet only few proved they were high above the rest. sir gawain was one who fought countless battles and won, in a time where a simply swipe of the blade upon any part of the body would be considered fatal; musashi, master of the blade, challenged by thousands who wished to claim their power greater, who lived and breathed only battle.

many reasons have been blessed upon the blade for which people would long to hold one.
and then there was hyakka ryouran samurai girls.

i don't know what to say, the timing of this anime was literally out of nowhere. completely out of place in the fall lineup. but for those who watch it, no feeling of regret or sadness was felt. this quite literally is an oddball win.

but in order to do a proper review let's get serious here (also will be using a new format for reviewing, will try to standardize it as i go along)

setting: unique, alternate-reality
japan, from the looks of it, a semi-modern one, deeply entrenched with history of war. in a city of tradition and war. the city was built to raise the children of the warrior clans into leaders for the country, located at the foot of mount fuji.
plot: classic harem + battle
a bloody-ecchi, a male lead character arrives in a town under orders of the student council (or government), where he runs into 2 of the female lead characters, not soon after they are thrust into the secret plots of the town. quite risque all around though.
art style: 5/5
ever play okami? it's like that, damn beautiful, paint-brush strokes galore. if it's your first time seeing this style, you'll probably start throwing out random perfect scores to express how amazing it looks. i give it a 5/5, as it's a nice change of pace from what we have currently.
characters: omgwtfbbq
all the characters are so unique, going into each one would take a paragraph and a half.
let's start with weaponry: theres a girl with a spear, a girl with 2 fans, a girl with a hammer, main character has a sword, another girl has 2 claymore things, another girl has 2 katana, another girl has claw/scissors....
pretty damn sweet.
characters themselves fall into the eccentric category : we got our flat-loli, we've got our clumsy-DD character, our more than lucky oddly strong male-lead, our megane-ninja, and various exciting hairstyles to go around in excess.

it's a good show to break down the pace, and fill in time between your squid girls, panties, and vampires.
but like i said, fall season is a strange time to show this very, for lack of a better phrase, basic harem.

editor note;
i can't really concentrate right now. i'll edit this when i have time. for now just go through my ramblings, while i gather my thoughts.
i'm going to leave it at this. i'll work on the format some more, and lay down some ground rules.

Hello!

Hello subscribers to come :*[ So my buddy nephi invited me to post on his blog. He left a bit of an intro for me earlier. Anyway, to be honest I've never blogged before but from what I gather I rant about something and hope people find it interesting... Kind of like facebook on a larger scale, neh? I'm not the biggest loli fan (I just got a thing for white girls... and pretty hands) but it's an honor to be here. =D Here's to a bright future.

cutely dark

today i will talk to you about the cutely dark.
never underestimate the power of a loli, they have the power to turn the darkest, creepiest, scariest nightmares into overloaded concentrations of moe-moe-kyuu~~~.
hmm, should that have read darkly cute?
it seems the public view has been moving away from darkly cute, gothica-lolita area, not seeing much life since the rozen-maiden phenomenon, but i've yet to see anyone dislike it. they just take other forms of cute in higher priority.

case example above for instance

what i really like about this picture is how the butterfly's face is zoned out and carefree, fits a butterfly quite well, and not to mention i have soft spot for the gothic community. lolis win. not to mention the bondage in this one is pretty light hearted and cute.

btw: spiders are the shit, i love spiders, wish i had my 'ludicrum-aranea'.

end of the line

it's happened again!
being ambitious leads to the ability to always get things done, it leads to unfaltering will towards production, it leads to a sense of pride and accomplishment that belong only to you.

and it leads to running out of stuff to do!

i'm not sure if this happens to many people, but i often find myself spending 100+ hours on a game to achieve complete victory or to look at the percentage of completion in a status menu achieve 100, only to realize that there is nothing in the game worth my time anymore, or anything at hand to fill in my new found time.

i have my anime, but i finish it as it comes in, as to not have any in queue. i have fighting games, as the only goal is the victory in the battle at hand, but neither of these will fill in the time gap a good RPG or other MMO could (and i've pretty much stopped playing MMOs).

i do spend my time producing materials for the benefit of others (editing wikis like a certain 'SCENARIO'), or drawing pictures in the mean time, but it will only be a little while before writer's block comes crashing down like the cold bitch she is.

i'm out of ideas, and i'm a little short on cash (seeing as how my job relies completely on the extra cash people are willing to spend on fake hats). the most i can do is lurk an image board and look at all the 2D, or check on those few sites that have a 6 month update period. somebody save me from this boredom!

PS: hate love relations are so damn addicting.

more authors, more views and topics!

pretty soon, we may start getting a new author up here in the lolicage. he's a good friend of mine, and he shares a rare genius/madness that i do. he's not too fond of the idea of lolis, but he's damn intelligent, and if he blows your fsking mind, then he's done his job.

i'll let him do his introduction when he appears.

a little sad that no one knows of this blog yet. but i'm hoping that changes.

anime : up to date vs batch

i've found myself in that dilemma again. watching hours of anime, and trying to manage watching the newest shows or batches of DVD releases.

sure, i've watched those BD/DVD releases already, but those little extras/de-censored things can matter when you've already poured 12 hours of watching into the series, over the course of 2-3 months..
but i still have to watch them, and with school and all, finding time to watch it AND get the new stuff in is pretty hard.

thankfully though, i enjoy doing it. so i'll put up with a few nights of overtime (for both school and fun).

oh and new loli of the moment : Azunyan! whose birthday was actually 2 days ago. but azunyan is not a very outstanding loli though, so why choose her? because even better than it being her birthday was that it was my sister's birthday too!

i guess happy online birthday Estellise!

PS: i think i figured out what i want for my birthday. it will probably be another fighting game, but whatever.

PPS: alot of people love and hate the word wasurenai, because japanese people seem to be infatuated with using it, alot of people love the word because it's meaning is very deep and it get's you thinking, others hate it because everyone uses it, all the time, everywhere. I for one like the word. because a certain game, drawn by a certain someone, has a title quite close to the word.

i love art.

i love art, if i see something that looks damn beautiful i will look at it forever. this can be just landscape, a girl, the style of drawing, anything.

and here today i'll start by telling you my favorites.
i guess i'll go top 10? first 5!

10) starting off, viewtiful joe. everyone say's it's a beautiful game, i say it's a damn masterpiece of the genre.
it's not just the way it looks, it's how they incorporated that into everything, from the invention of the word viewtiful, to how the art style blends in with the fighting and gameplay, the brilliant use of cel-shading, and the crafting of all the mechanics, it's all just love and passion of the creators matched by skill and genius.

9) saki. both the manga and the anime. it's just so damn beautiful. the characters are so well developed and designed (and for nodoka it's doubly-so haha), i've never seen more beautiful characters anywhere before. from the design of saki and nodoka, to the outfits of the varying mahjong players, all the way to the design of the locations. in the manga, the art is damn amazing, i would sell my legs for skill like that.

8) light novels (story). i love reading light novels, any i can get my hands on i will read them. be it touhou stories by ZUN, or original stories like shiina ryo. i've read the entire haruhi series to date (10 will elude me for a while due to licensing and release dates). and in all of them you can hear the voice of the author. and in that voice is where i find the beauty. each author writes in a different way, and their verbal tics and reoccurring plot devices are so varied and whimsical i can't help but smile and laugh. whether it be the thought patterns of the main characters, or the reasons behind why the characters end up where they do, i just can't help but sympathize with whatever the author was thinking.

7) kara no kyoukai/tsukihime. i was one of the few people who played the original visual novel for tsukihime, and followed it through the melty blood series, and tried to take in every angle the world had to offer, all the way to watching every kara no kyoukai. it's a beautiful series in the expanse of the world, and it's take on the ethereal forces everyone fantasizes of. let it be how ghosts and magic works, to the marble-eye powers of the shikis (there are 3 shikis so far) the eyes of death perception, even the realistic but fantastic styles of the animation.

6) SaGa of Japan. they're a band. raison d'etre. i won't talk much about them, or this would take an essay's worth of fanboy rambling. so i'm limiting myself to holding that off for another blog. sure they wrote the song for viewitful joe's anime, but that's not why i love them. see here, i found them during a period of depression for me, and their song brighter side actually pulled me out of it. the words in their songs are pretty powerful (to me at least), and i found life from it. eventually i stopped playing viewtiful joe, having beat the shit out of that game, and found my way out of depression, and started living a very happy middle school eighth grade life, even so much as falling in love. few years later i fell into depression again, and once again their song pulled me out of it. i owe alot to them. and the fact they pretty much saved my life with their songs is enough to be called beauty.

end of first 5. top 5 up next!

welcome to the loli cage.

okay to make sure it is perfectly CLEAR.
this is NOT a pedophile site or anything.

the goal of this blog is : report on the random events my life stumbles into, which will most likely be:
*reports on the various awesome lolis and moe-miracles i find as i go along
*games i play, including my EFZ career, my fighting game experiences, my mmo/rpg experiences, etc.
*and the amazing bullshit that happens around me.

why should you care? well mostly just to kill time i guess. and if you like loli's it's a decent place to take your poison.

so why loli cage? : a running joke among me and my friends is how much loli i like. specifically how much i nerd-spam about them. it escalated to the point where the less-knowing (but probably saner) group of my friends just decided i was a pedophile. at the time the joke started i was barely scratching 18, so i just ran with it.

now being 18 and totally possible of being convicted of pedophile stuff, i will now drop the joke here and now: i like girls of my age, but i really do find loli's overwhelmingly cute. the difference : the loli's i will glomp in public given half the chance must meet certain requirements. they must be short and thin, like a loli should; they MUST BE NEAR MY AGE, if they are younger than me, i'll just admire them or something else creepy (haha it is a joke, don't look at me like that). older than me by quite a bit? i've only encountered one loli that fits that description. another time.

that's it, everything else is considered bonus : flat, yandere, tsundere, megane, hell even anthropomorphic or meido or something like that. as long as they meet those other 2 requirements, i'll go for it. oh adorabloodthirsty, that's a good one.

what was i getting to? oh right loli cage. so some of my friends call me a pedo, and some others know better, and i find myself at a point where i needed to define specifically what i was. and that is a lolicon. so to point out the difference in the grey area, i made the title something provocative, to generate as much talk on the subject as possible. but that would generate a shit ton of talk that i won't be bothered to listen to. so i will continue.

yes, i'm a lolicon. i find pride in the fact that i'm not alone, and i would like to make it wide spread that the difference between liking a body-archetype, and little kids is a fucking canyon sized gap. kids are in no way at all "fun" or "awesome", kids are assholes. loli's are maidens, you want to protect them, you want to admire their cuteness in sighs of "awwweh~~~", and you want to make them yours. find me a legal loli, and i will find you a fist to the face and a missing girl. more jokes, laugh or i'll be in trouble.

short serious version: kid's are assholes, loli's generate enough moe to make a katawa-army march through a mine field and come out healthy enough to bite into one of those mines just for dramatic effect. think about that for a sec.

shorter version fake:
thus the loli-cage was built, where i would collect various lolis and sit there in my silk and gold throne telling them of my great adventures in the forest-tubes of the interwebs. while the rest of the castle would rot away.

ps: shit that was a lot on lolis. this is also a blog about my art and the games i play, and the rest of the shit i do.
